Suite #208: Bauman Model

The Bauman name is deeply rooted in the Mennonite heritage of Waterloo Township and the city of Berlin (Kitchener). Gabriel H. Bauman, a cabinetmaker by trade, served as a city Councillor from 1854 to 1857, leaving a legacy of craftsmanship and civic contribution.
Suite #211: Breithaupt Model

Named for William Henry Breithaupt, an accomplished civil engineer and community leader born in 1857. After immigrating to Berlin (Kitchener), he shaped much of the area’s infrastructure by building railways, the local gasworks, and serving as the first chairman of the City Planning Commission. His vision and impact on the Kitchener-Waterloo region endure to this day.
Suite #404: Bricker Model

Samuel Bricker was a prominent landowner and early Waterloo County settler. He purchased farmland near Blair, Ontario, in 1802. By the same year, Bricker and other investors formed the German Company, bringing dozens of pioneering families from Pennsylvania, whose influence helped shape the region’s future.

Named for Benjamin Eby, a pioneer bishop of the Mennonite Church in Ontario, who immigrated to Waterloo County in 1807.
